It must be very disheartening for you and your husband for him to have so many side effects to his prescribed medication. Hi Barbara, There are no contraindications for Lexapro (unless your husband is bipolar). However, Procera issues a warning that for any anti-seizure medications such as Lamictal, you should talk to your doctor first. My husband suffered viral herpes encelpalitis and as a result has some short term memory problems and continues to take Lamictal 200mgs twice daily, along with Lexapro 10mgs. Are there any contraindications with these medications and the procera?

There are no contraindications for Procera and Lexapro, so you should be able to take them at the same time. Some people take Lexapro for bipolar disorder, in which case you should talk to your doctor first.
I take Lexapro 10mg once a day for help with mood (mood only, no depression), and it really helps. Can I take Procera and Lexapro both at the same time or should I wean off Lexapro and try the Procera? It seems the both describe some similar, crossover benefits.
